The editorial board of “Diskrepancija“, Sociology Student’s Club Diskrepancija’s journal from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, Croatia is inviting all interested students to send their original papers to be published in the upcoming issue. The main topic is feminism. The emphasis is on four major problems: the feminist struggle in the cultural domain, the relationship between feminism and democracy, the material aspect of gender inequality and the global character of the feminist movement. We also welcome papers dealing with critical assessments of feminism in theory and practice.
Priority is given to papers connected with the main topic, but we also accept contributions related to other subjects within humanities and social sciences. We plead with the authors to bear in mind the interdisciplinary character of the journal and try to present their ideas in a manner that will be acceptable to a varied readership. The deadline has been extended to February 28th 2015.
